 2007-08 Bus Routes

An additional bus route has been added for the 2007-08 school year, and minor adjustments have been made to some of the existing bus routes to make the district's transportation services more efficient. Most students affected by the changes have already been contacted by the Transportation Department.

District residents with kindergartners should receive transportation information by Saturday, September 1, 2007. Parents/guardians of kindergarten or out of district students should call the bus garage at 895-2511 for scheduled pick-up times if they do not receive information by Tuesday, August 4, 2007. Both the Transportation Supervisor Harry Folckemer and Head Bus Driver Peg Venter will be available at the kindergarten orientation on Wednesday, September 5 between 1 and 2 p.m. to answer any questions and concerns. 

Please note that pick-up times are APPROXIMATE. Students should be ready and waiting outside five minutes before their scheduled pick-up time. Pick-up and drop off times may change within the first few weeks of school, but as drivers establish their routes there should be few changes or delays throughout the year. The bus driver MUST SEE an adult or older child at home for kindergarten student drop-off.

All buses leave at approximately 7 a.m. and arrive at the high school by 7:55 a.m. and at the elementary school by 8 a.m. Most runs are approximately 45 minutes long and run between 7 and 8 a.m.

Route #1: Mr. Van Buren—6:55 a.m.
Picks up Island Road, Burtonville Village, Burtonville Road North, Gombar Road, Burtonville Road, South to Gidley Road, Barbin Road, Burtonville Road South, Schoonmaker Road and Youngs Road to the High School.

Route #2: Mr. Ruther—6:55 a.m.
Picks up Mountain View Lane, Depot Road, Duanesburg Churches Road, West Shore Road (ES students only) to the Elementary School.

Route #3: Ms. Micheli—7 a.m.
Picks up Route 7, Quaker Street, Route 7 West from Youngs Road, Route 30 North from Route 7, Old Highway 30, Creek Road, Old Highway 30 to Esperance Bridge, Western Turnpike from Esperance Bridge, East to High School and Elementary School.

Route #4: Mr. Butler—7:03 a.m.
Picks up Crow Hill Road, Bozenkill Road, White Road, Weaver Road, Duanesburg Road to Cole Road and Quaker Lane to High School and Elementary School.
 

Route #5: Mr. Demania—7:05 a.m.
Picks up Duanesburg Road East to VanPatten Road, Depot Road, Cole Road (High School students only), drop off at High School. Picks up Cole Road (ES students only) to Elementary School.

Route #6: Mrs. Lennox—6:53 a.m.
Picks up Upper Knight Road at Skyline Drive, Skyline Drive West, Herrick Road North, to Route 30 North from Herrick Road, Hardin Road, Route 30 South from Mariaville, Route 30 (4367),   Main Street (Route 395) South from Route 20 to High School then Elementary School. 

Route #7: Ms. Koslik—7 a.m.
Picks up Western Turnpike from Duanesburg light East to #1477, Suits Road, Darrow Road,    Mott Road, Schoharie Turnpike from Western Turnpike to North Mansion Road, Crosier Road at Western Turnpike, North Avenue, Duane Avenue to the High School and Elementary School. 

Route #8: Ms. Klingbeil—6:52 a.m.
Picks up McGuire School Road North, Eatons Corners Road, Burtonsville Road, Bramans Corners Road, Millers Corners Road, Peck Road, Mill Pond Road, Eatons Corners Road, McGuire School Road South, Garnsey Road @ McGuire School Road to High School and Elementary School. 

Route #9: Mrs. Leveillee—7:05 a.m.
East Shore Road (HS Students only), Alexander Road, Turnbull Road, Gage Road, Western Turnpike from 8441 East (South side of Duanesburg light), Overlook Heights (students should walk out to Route 20), Western Turnpike (West from Duanesburg light) North side to the High School. Picks up East Shore Road (ES students only) to Elementary School. 

Route #10: Mrs. Kass—7:00 a.m.
Picks up Schoharie Turnpike 4878 to 4124, Schoharie Turnpike (past Weaver Road), North Mansion Road, Duane Lake Road, West Duane Lake Road, Hillcrest Commons, Schoharie Turnpike West, Maple Avenue at choharie Turnpike, 2377 Main Street {Rt. 395} to High School. Picks up Maple Avenue, Schoharie Turnpike, Chadwick to Elementary School.

Route #11: Mr. Lawyer—7:12 a.m.
Western Turnpike West from Rt. 395 (North side), Western Turnpike at Wendy Lane, Route 30 South from Rt. 20 West and East side, Youngs Road, Thousand Acre Road at Newtown Street and Elm Street to the High School and Elementary School.

Route #12: Mr. Schaeffer—7:00 a.m.
Picks up Knight Road, Skyline Drive West (4915 to 5527), Skyline Drive East from Duanesburg Churches Road, Scotch Ridge Road to the High School. Picks up Main Street (South of railroad tracks) to the Elementary School.

Route #13: Mr. Scranton—7:02 a.m.
Picks up Gallupville Road, Barton Hill Road, Westfall Road, Salsburg Road, Panas Road, Cross Road, Darby Hill Road, 515 Chadwick Road, East Shore Road (High School students) to High School and Elementary School.

Route #14: Bus Driver TBA—7:15 a.m.
 Picks up Lower Mudge Road, Upper Mudge Road, Skyline Drive North, Sage Hill to High School then Elementary School.
