October 29, 2007 -- Duanesburg eighth grade students participated in a fun and exciting unit on rocketry involving math, science and technology this fall. After discussing Newton's laws and other aspects of rocketry, students spent four days working with a partner to design and assemble a rocket personalized with a variety of colors and other designs. The unit culminated with a rocket launch on the upper soccer field on a beautiful fall day in October.
