Vendors packed the middle/high school gymnasiumApril 1, 2008 – The entire community came together for another successful Duanesburg Day celebration on Saturday, March 29. Inside Duanesburg Middle/High School, hundreds of families and community members enjoyed a variety of activities from perusing craft and antique vendors to dancing to the "Hearts of Rhythm" and observing student exhibits focusing on Duanesburg's history and heritage. Young children worked off their extra energy in the free Bouncy Bounce sponsored by the DACC.

The Parent-Teacher-Student Organization (PTSO) raised more than $4,000 to benefit the Lees family to help them through this difficult time. The organization sponsored a mystery raffle, silent auction, gently used dress/accessory sale and food concessions. Student art work filled the entire multi-occ roomAuction items included gift certificates from local businesses, gift baskets, antiques, collectibles, home decorations and much more.

The free, popular event is sponsored by the Duanesburg Central School District along with the Duanesburg Historical Society, the New York Folklore Society and the Duanesburg Area Community Center (DACC).
