Nov. 2, 2009—Get in touch
with what school life is like for today's students during
Visitation Day. The annual event provides parents, guardians
and community members with a unique opportunity to observe
classes and instruction, participate in activities and
lessons and build relationships with faculty and staff.
Visitation Day will be held at Duanesburg Middle/High School
on Tuesday, Nov. 3, and at Duanesburg Elementary School on
Friday, Nov. 6.
MS/HS Visitation Day
Registration will
be held from 8 - 8:10 a.m. in the middle/high school
multi-purpose room on Nov. 3. Coffee will be served and
visitors will receive a schedule and visitor's badge.
Individuals who arrive after 8:10 a.m. must report to the
main office.
ES Visitation Day
The elementary school will hold a morning session from
8:15-10:30 a.m. and an afternoon session from 12:45-2:30
p.m. Visitors may plan to attend one or both sessions.
However, interested individuals must fill out and return a
participation form by Tuesday, Nov. 3 (available on page
3 of the elementary newsletter).
To help students stay focused, younger siblings should not
be brought into the classroom. The DACC can provide
babysitting for children ages 2-6 for a fee of $3 per child,
per session. However, advance registration is required. Call
the DACC at 895-9500 by Tuesday, Nov. 3.
We hope to see you at what promises to be a positive event
for everyone involved. |
