Oct. 5, 2009—Mark
your calendar for Duanesburg Middle/High School's production
of Rogers and Hammerstein's Oklahoma!
The musical includes touching romances, western-style
brawls, toe-tapping music and enthusiastic dances. The
setting is the Indian territory now known as the state of
Oklahoma. The story follows the lives of several young
people as they search for their place in this developing
society.
The show is directed by music teacher Mira Ordon, with
choreography by Jackie Amorosi-Stark and accompaniment by
Karen Edson. Scenery is being created by high school
students in Kevin DiTondo's 2D and 3D art classes.
Performances will be held in

7 p.m., and on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 31 and Nov. 1, at 2
