August 19,
2009—School meals are increasing by 15 cents at the
elementary school and 25 cents at the middle/high school
this year, effective September 2009.
The new prices are:
The price of
breakfast ($1.00) and milk (50 cents) will remain the same.
The Board of Education approved the price increases in
August due to an overwhelming increase in food prices
nationwide and higher fuel prices to transport food.
