December 18, 2006 - A new Family Room is
now available for parents and caregivers in Schenectady County
at Duanesburg Elementary School on Thursdays from 8:30 - 11 a.m.
The Family Room is a child-friendly place for parents and
caregivers to come alone or with their preschoolers to play,
have fun and join in exciting activities and interesting
workshops. In the future, some afternoon and evening events may
be added to the schedule.
No appointments are necessary
and the program is free of charge. Simply drop by the elementary
school, sign-in at the main office and ask school personnel to
direct you to the Family Room. You are invited to stay for all
or part of the session. Coffee and snacks will be provided.
The program is a partnership of Cornell Cooperative Extension,
Schenectady County and the Duanesburg Central School District,
funded by the Schenectady County Youth Bureau.
