Students band together for Tolerance Day

Duanesburg Middle/High School students will be sporting blue bands in observation of Tolerance Day on April 25. The Schenectady County Embraces Diversity Community has asked students and faculty from throughout Schenectady County schools to join together in celebration of this day by wearing "tolerance" bracelets as a sign of unity.

In Duanesburg, Tolerance Day will kick off with a special Project Wisdom segment that will air during the school's morning news program. The broadcast will feature the Bob Marley song "Is this love" and a message about tolerance and diversity from Patty Graham, the school's Project Wisdom facilitator.
Teachers will distribute the "tolerance" bracelets toward the end of the segment.
