Students have projects down to a science

On Saturday, April 8, students in kindergarten through Grade 8 exhibited their projects at Duanesburg Elementary School's annual Science Fair. After choosing their topics, students spent several afternoons after school researching their projects. A panel of judges carefully considered all entries before finally selecting the award-winning projects. And the winners were:
  • Kindergarten: Austin Kellerman "Bubble Rockets"

  • Grade 1: Abigail White "All About T-Rex"

  • Grade 2: Olivia Munson "Why Do People Need to Wear Glasses"

  • Grade 3: Rebecca Kosinski "Eye Color in My Family"

  • Grade 4: Nick Cornaire "Volcano"

  • Grade 5: Jacob Tanzman "Armonica"

  • Grade 6: Mary Rachel Keville "H2O - What Do You Know"

  • Grade 8: Emily Kosinski "Acid Rain"

  • Best of Show: Zach Frey "Programming Lego Mind Storm"

Congratulations to all Science Fair participants and winners.
