DCS students land top honors for their essays on preserving
environment

Two Duanesburg students, Bobby Berry (Turn Off the Lights) and Andrew
Folckemer (Do Your Part to Save our Gas), were among six students
from across New York who were honored
for their prize-winning essays on preserving the environment.
Marcy McKinley, science teacher, encouraged the students to apply
and attend a dinner and lecture, which featured their prize-winning
essays. Also pictured, Siena Professor of Economics Dr. James F.
Booker, Director of Siena Program for Sustainable Land Use, who
coordinated the event at Siena College on March 28.
