  • Sign-up for the School News Notifier service, an opt-in e-mail alert system designed to keep parents and community members up-to-date about Duanesburg activities and events, including emergency school closings and delays.

  • Call 895-8310, ext. 800 between 6 and 6:15 a.m. This is a phone extension at the elementary school devoted to providing updates on school closings/delays.

  • The district participates in the School Closings Network in cooperation with the Albany Times-Union, and any delay or cancellation will be announced on the Times Union Web site as well as the following television stations: 6 (WRGB), Capital News 9, 10 (WTEN), 13 (WNYT) and Fox 23 (WXXA).
