Closings and Delays
When the Duanesburg Central School District is forced to close
schools, delay start times or dismiss students early due to
inclement weather or other emergency conditions, that information is
reported here.
Note: Refresh
your screen to make sure your computer is displaying the
latest news on this page. Some computers cache the page in memory;

alert system designed to keep parents and community members
up-to-date about Duanesburg activities and events, including
emergency school closings and delays.

Call 895-8310, ext. 800 between 6 and 6:15
a.m. This is a phone extension at the elementary school devoted
to providing updates on school closings/delays.
- The district
participates in the School Closings Network in cooperation with
the Albany Times-Union, and any delay or cancellation will be
announced on the Times Union Web site as well as the following
television stations:

(WRGB),
Capital News 9, 10
(WTEN),
13 (WNYT) and Fox 23 (WXXA).
Important
note about school delays:
When the district has a one-hour delay, cereal and toast will be
served for breakfast. No breakfast will be served in the event of a
two-hour delay.
