MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS

Guidance News:
There will be a college representative from Bryant and Stratton in Guidance on
Tuesday, November 17, 10am. Please see Mrs. Dickson for a pass if you are
interested.
Attn. All Students:
Please do not cut through the MOCC or Gym. This includes 3pm dismissal. Our
custodial staff is working daily to prep those spaces for sports practices.
The library will be closed period 10 today for English research.
Our Big Brothers/Big Sisters group is looking for student volunteers. If you
would be interested in being a “Big”, please contact the main office. This does
count toward community service hours.
Modified practice begins today. Modified basketball practices will be at the
elementary school. Girls modified practices 3-5pm and boys will follow 5-7pm.
Modified wrestling will practice at the high school, 3-5pm in the MOCC. This
week, cheerleading practice will be at the high school, 3-5pm. Please see your
coach for location.
Our Toys for Tots campaign is off to a great start. Our box is decorated and
ready to be filled. There is a “Hat Day” Thursday, November 19th with all
proceeds going to Toys for Tots. Pay $1.00 and you can wear your favorite hat.
Please note: hoods are not considered a hat. Donations will be accepted so if
you choose not to wear a hat, you can still donate to this worthy cause.
Attn. Writers:
Nimbus meets Wednesday, November 18th, in the Elvis room (room 114), 3-5pm.
Bring your creativity and writing implements.
Lunch:
Mon.-cheeseburgers & hash browns, Tues.-grilled cheese or ham & cheese on a
bagel w/tomato soup, Wed.-taco salad, Thurs.-pizza & salad.
