• Writes and recognizes first name

• Identifies eight colors

• Toilets and dresses independently

• Some can zip and tie

• Identifies some shapes

• Identifies many letter names, including letters in their name

• Sings or says the alphabet except for “m n”

• Counts to 10

• Identifies numerals 1-5

• Cuts a straight line with scissors

• Begins to hear rhyming words

• Begins to recognize beginning consonant sounds

• Knows phone number

• Listens to a story

• Follows one step directions

• Shares, words and plays in a group

• Manages glue, tape, scissors, paint, clay, etc.

• Blows and wipes nose; washes hands
