CALL TO ORDER at 9:47 p.m. 
by President Ray Hawes.

ROLL CALL 
Present: President Ray Hawes, Vice Pres. James Breitenstein, Trustee Alan Krieger, Trustee John Iseman, Trustee David Remling, Trustee Deb Schardt
Absent: Trustee Bridget Holmes

1. PROPOSITION #1 - Proposed Budget
Recommendation that the Duanesburg Board of Education accept the vote of 342 Yes and 297 No for the 2005-2006 School Year Budget in the amount of $12,115,600. 

Motion by Trustee Schardt, seconded by Trustee Krieger.
Yes: Hawes, Breitenstein, Krieger, Iseman, Remling, Schardt. Absent: Holmes. Motion Carried.

2. PROPOSITION #2 - Bus Purchasing
Recommendation that the Duanesburg Board of Education accept the vote of
371 Yes and 236 No for the purchase of two (2) school buses at a maximum cost of $121,485 and one (1) maintenance tractor at a maximum cost of $25,000.

Motion by Trustee Iseman, seconded by Trustee Schradt.
Yes: Hawes, Breitenstein, Krieger, Iseman, Remling, Schardt. Absent: Holmes. Motion Carried.

3. Board of Education Candidates
Recommendation that the Duanesburg Board of Education accept the following votes for three (3) Board of Education terms; two three year terms and one two year term:

Paul Munson = 509 votes (3 year term)
John Iseman = 461 votes (3 year term)
Carlos Moreno write in candidate = 42 votes  
(2 year term)

Motion by Trustee Krieger, seconded by Trustee Schardt.
Yes: Hawes, Breitenstein, Krieger, Iseman, Remling, Schardt. Absent: Holmes. Motion Carried.

2. Approve Financial Reports
Recommendation that the Duanesburg Board of Education approve the Appropriation Status Reports and Revenue Budget Status Reports for all funds {General, Federal and School Lunch} as recommended by the business administrator.

Motion by Trustee Krieger, seconded by Trustee Remling.
Yes: Hawes, Breitenstein, Remling, Krieger. Absent: Holmes, Iseman, Schardt. Motion Carried. 

3. Approve Budget Transfers
Recommendation that the Duanesburg Board of Education approve the Budget Transfers dated 4/26/05 as recommended by the business administrator.

Motion by Trustee Remling, seconded by V. Pres. Breitenstein.
Yes: Hawes, Breitenstein, Remling, Krieger. Absent: Holmes, Iseman, Schardt. Motion Carried.

1. Accept Retirement Notices
Recommendation that the Duanesburg Board of Education accept the retirement notices for the following individuals effective June 30, 2005:

Elementary School Paraprofessional

Motion by Trustee Remling, seconded by Trustee Krieger.

2. Approve Appointments
Recommendation that the Duanesburg Board of Education approve the following appointments as recommended by the superintendent. These appointments are contingent upon fingerprint supported criminal history background check in accordance with SAVE Legislation.

Motion by Trustee Krieger, seconded by Trustee Remling.
Yes: Hawes, Breitenstein, Remling, Krieger. Absent: Holmes, Iseman, Schardt. Motion Carried.

1. Adopt 2005-06 School Year Calendar 
Recommendation that the Duanesburg Board of Education adopt the 2005-2006 School Year Calendar as recommended by the Education Committee and the superintendent. 

Motion by Trustee Remling, seconded by Trustee Krieger.
Yes: Hawes, Breitenstein, Remling, Krieger. Absent: Holmes, Iseman, Schardt. Motion Carried.

2. Appoint Election Inspectors 
Recommendation that the Duanesburg Board of Education appoint the following individuals as Election Inspectors for the May 17, 2005 Budget Vote/BOE Election. 

12:30-3:00 pm: Laura Countryman, Karen Borst, Judy Hebert, Cheryl Perog
3:00-6:00 pm: Dorthe Mayo, Kathy Williams, two more are needed
6:00-9:15 pm: Darrel DeGiule, Dana Mesick, Bill Tindale, Lori Gallup
