District sports teams earn scholar-athlete awards
December 21, 2009
Congratulations to the varsity volleyball and the girls' varsity soccer teams on earning a Scholar-Athlete Team Award. To earn the award, a set number of athletes on each team must earn a grade point average of 90 or better in the classroom during a particular season. They were honored with a special breakfast on Dec. 21.

Duanesburg's Sports Booster Club needs you! Officers and volunteers are in desperate need to help run Duanesburg's Sports Booster Club. Without additional help, the club, which plays a vital role in assisting the school district’s athletic department by providing financial support to student-athletes and athletic programs, may dissolve.

Each year, the club raises money to support, promote and celebrate the accomplishments of all district athletes. In past years, the club has helped purchase non-budgeted items, such as uniforms, awards for sports banquets, pep rallies, and scholarships and flowers for graduates.
