Duanesburg Central School District's
Athletics Department believes that participation in
sports provides a wealth of opportunities and experiences that
assist students in their education. The district offers students
the opportunity to participate in 10 different sports across
three seasons including baseball, basketball, bowling,
cheerleading, cross country, soccer, softball, track and field,
volleyball and wrestling. Competing as a Section II of the New
York State Public High School Athletic Association, the Eagles
represent Duanesburg on the playing fields. DCS league
affiliation is with the Western Athletic Conference (WAC). |
Duanesburg Central School
District is now using
highschoolsports.net, an online service devoted
solely to covering high school sports, to provide the
most most up-to-date and accurate schedules for all DCS
sports at all levels.
Users can get practice
schedules, driving directions, schedule changes, updated
scores and stats, review pictures, print custom
calendars and team schedules. Visit the site to view

Schedules by day, week, month, season etc.
Sign-up now to receive e-mail notification of
changes to the sports schedule, scores and stats that
have been updated on highschoolsports.net! Notifications
can be sent to your e-mail account or as a text message
to your cell phone. |

Congratulations to
Duanesburg's wrestlers!
During the
New York State Public High School
Athletic Association's wrestling championships
on March 8 and 9, Brian Borst won the the state
title for his weight class in Division II. Wes
Coppola placed sixth, while David Larson and
Randy White held their own during the state
competition.

Congratulations to the girls Varsity Basketball
and Varsity Wrestling teams for receiving the
New York State Scholar-Athlete Team Award this
winter. To qualify, each team must have a
cumulative grade-point average of more than 90
percent.
